10 Days Til....

10 days til we move. 10 days til we change our lives forever! Drastically. I am so excited!

Everything that can go wrong is going wrong but we are managing to roll with the punches.  The official roof will not be on til after we move in but it's ok- we have a back up plan.
I still don't know everything I need to know about off grid refrigeration but I will learn as I go I guess. Oh and where will the fence for the dogs come from?!

My internet and phone are already off so I am at the library typing this as quick as I can. I don't get much time, and the woman next to me is loud on her cell phone  but I am dealing. I don't know when I will get to type again but I will when I get a chance.

Pray for us please- we will need those prayers lol

I'm so very excited for your family! Taking time to pray for you now (as I may not remember until I get another post from you!) and I know God will provide for those needs still waiting to be filled. Are your children excited? I know it will be hard but so worth it.

So sorry, I didn't see this post till now. Hang in there, things will be tough at first, but after living off-grid for a year now we don't feel like we are living a life of hardships, but of blessings! Our children wouldn't trade it for anything! There are hard times, as you are already finding, but you will make it!

Fencing for the dogs...we have gotten lots of free fence panels from a fencing company who tears out old fences and puts in new ones. They throw out the old panels and many times there are still good ones mixed in that they are happy to let you take off their hands. Is there a fencing company on your area that may be a possibility?

Also, here is a post I read recently about keeping food with no refrigeration. http://www.notechmagazine.com/2012/01/saving-food-from-the-fridge.html#more?inf_contact_key=40685ddd8627f6a3a1199286e683f8a2186c0a99f8f614abc13db25cd105ada8.

I pray the rain stays away from your roof till it's done!

Prayers,
Rose Petal
