book reviews

i have been asked to review these books at different times and now i am simply combining them all to save time. if you are interested in any of them please see my amazon link on my left sidebar ~smile~

truthfully i wasn't very impressed with this book. while i understand the need to get rid of clutter i don't agree with the author's assessment that collections are considered part of clutter so her ideas about tossing most of them hit a sour note with me.
i also didn't like her thoughts on what she considers clutter traps i.e., organizers that are meant to store your various paperwork. while one idea may not work for everyone that doesn't mean that it may not work for you.
all in all, i didn't like this book because i didn't feel the author gave enough weight to items that make a home rather then clutter a space.
i did however find a book about organizing and decluttering i liked. i read about it in redbook magazine (i don't normally recommend this magazine but i got it for free and thought i'd try it) the book is called "shed your stuff, change your life" by julie morgenstern. she worked with someone to declutter and organize their home and i really really liked her approach to things. one of her claims is that not everyone has the same idea as to what constitutes clutter and not everyone lives the same type of life so everyone will have a different method that works for them. i would suggest this book instead.

what can i say? i LOVED this book! i hated ending it! i know that many people have expressed a dislike for kate (and you know who you are mom!) but she addresses that in the book and quite well i think. plus i think she is quite right in saying for those who think that way- may you have 8 children under the age of 3 !! ~smile~ plus they take an entire week's worth of discussions and put it all in one short episode and edit it to seem far worse than it is!
what struck me the most about this book was the family's christianity. especially kate's. she sounds awesome! she is someone who has learned to trust God and to let Him lead the way and she shares her struggles in doing so. i admire kate more than i ever did before. i so wish they were allowed to share their faith on the show.

i do like this book but i am not totally crazy about it for one reason. it really is aimed at older girls tho it claims not to be. my 5 yr old has very little in this that she can do , nor does my 7 yr old.
that said i do like how each activity is given a category to fit in so you can add it to your school day easily. for example if your dd writes a composition on ruth you can consider that writing for language arts and so on.
there is no math or grammar involved of course.
while i like the book a lot i don't think it was the $40. someone else with older girls may think differently tho. and maybe in years to come so will i! :)

org not com

info you should know
ORG, not COM

Please make sure when you are telling someone about the Above Rubies web page, that they must go to www.aboverubies.org not com. There is an above rubies site with a com which is the opposite of everything we believe. from nancy campbell

i went to this site and was stunned at how deceitful it was! they talked about nancy and had bible verses up ,all like it was the real thing, and then when you click anything on the sidebar it says coming soon, then you click the bottom, as if you were continuing the site and it takes you to a divorce and working mom site. explaining divorce in different states and where to hire an attorny. how to get kids in daycare etc. NOT what nancy talks about at all. regardless of your opinion on these things, i believe it is wrong to steal the good name above rubies and hijack it for your own gain. which is exactly what they have done!
spread the word ladies so no one gets the wrong impression of nancy or above rubies.

Feeding a family of 12, under budget
By WINK News

Story Created: May 26, 2008 at 9:08 PM EST

Story Updated: May 26, 2008 at 10:33 PM EST

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Food prices are on the rise, and many Southwest Florida residents are looking for ways to feed their families on a budget.

WINK News got a lesson from a family in Fort Myers. 10 children living at home, limited income, and they do it on a budget of just $600 a month!

Inside Gerry and Cynthia Peterson's modest three-bedroom home, it's a numbers game.

"My goal is always, I want dinner to cost me about 10 dollars for 10 of us," Cynthia Peterson, a Fort Myers resident, said.

You read it right. About $1 a meal, per person.

On taco night, ground beef was on sale. The food budget for this family of 12 is just $600 a month, including things like diapers and toothpaste. And get this: Cynthia comes in under budget.

"I'm always amazed, especially when we did not have a lot of money for groceries, how she would take things that we already had in the home and put them together in unbelievalbe ways. That it was a real pleasant surprise to come to the table," said Gerry Peterson, her husband.

Gerry Peterson is self-employed, and business is down. But these children, all 10, are happy and well-fed.

Cynthia showed WINK News receipts, and on one of them, she actually saved more that she spent.

She only buys meat under $2 per pound. At Albertson's, she found pork ribs for 98 cents a pound. Plus, they were buy one, get one free.

"I want to say, for three dollars we had more than we could eat," Cynthia Peterson said.

That's her strategy: she scans the circulars, looks for the buy one, get one free deals, or the per-pound prices, and she just refuses to pay too much.

"Set yourself some price limits. This is how much I'm willing to pay, and don't go over it," Cynthia Peterson said.

Cynthia said her day has more time than money, so she does shop around, waits for a deal, and stocks up.

are coupons worth it?

have you read about erin in houston, who lives on $800 a year?

or how about the family that lives on $1500 a year? (who shut down their blog yesterday after gaining national attention (bummer!)

well, i just can't do it!

i have a food budget of $1000 a month and i use every bit of it. now to be fair i do use qs and save about $30 a week and i do get several items for free by using qs on clearance items . and that $1000 a month includes tp and disposable diapers ( i use cloth mainly but for nightime and day trips i use disposies- so 1 pack a month does it for us) AND i have 9 mouths to feed. 2 big guys and a little guy who eats like a big guy! :)

for example- last nite i served each person 2 burger patties topped with bbq sauce, baked potato and corn. my teen son, my dh, my younger son and myself were still hungry! not starving of course but we sure would like to have had more. this is typical! but i didn;t buy the extra meat i needed cuz i was trying to be thrifty!!!

dh and i think we have honed in on the problem! i am so busy saving money on things with qs that i don't buy what we truly need!! if i have 10 cans of tomato sauce i bought for $4 total that's great! but if i have nothing to go with that tomato sauce it's not great!!
so i am reverting back to my old method of shopping! i will buy what we need each week for meals, regardless of qs , and use what qs i have only for what i truly will eat. diehard couponers say to save every q out there cuz you never know when a deal will strike but i am too busy for that!! i homeschool 5 children, have a 6 month old, a twenty something i am molding, keep a house (and dh says he thinks i do FANTASTIC job as a household manager ~smile~ (his job keeps him out many many late hours and i do it all by myself. i am very grateful for a dd who cooks too!) and work on the computer , doing surveys and earning money.( right now i am waiting for a $25 check from wellness 360 and a $10 check from one company and a $5 check from another. this a.m i sent off for another $10 gc to old navy for my dd's bday gift and last week dh and i ate for free with gcs i earned for the on the border mexican restaurant)

i have unsubbed from a lot of money saving and coupon sites cuz it just isn't working for me. maybe they have more time. maybe they have a car to drive during the week ( i don't) maybe they have more than 1 store to shop in ( i have a walmart. they don't admatch for buy one get one free deals, they don't accept the competition's qs,admatching only works for a certain mile radius and everything we have in that radius is more expensive to start with! and if i go to brookshires they only triple 1 q per brand ( so no stockpiling on peanut butter on sale) AND they are higher priced to start with!!! so no deals there! tho i like their meat prices better)
cvs is gone and that is where i made a lot of deals!!

what about you? have you tried coupons and found it not worth it? am i doing something wrong? i have studied , really studied, these savings blogs and i just can't do it!! dh says saving $30 a week is good but i feel so badly about it when i read their success stories!!

any advice?

a few beautiful sites

there are a few sites on the web that i love to look at for inspiration. they have some beautiful things . i am not able to buy all the things they do - with 7 kids someone always needs shoes or schoolbooks ~smile~- nor am i as talented as these ladies are, but i still glean great ideas from them . here they are!

decorating as a proverbs 31 woman

as homemakers we are to take care to organize and decorate our homes in a manner which is pleasing to our families' eyes. that doesn't mean buying the most expensive items but rather taking care that what we do have and buy is nice looking and well taken care of.
one way i do this is by gathering ideas from magazines. certainly not every look i see on the pages is for me- some are quite outrageous but fun to look at!- but i can glean some ideas from just about everywhere.

the best way to get those magazines is for free!

here are a few sites that offer free magazines that you can glean from :) don't worry- i have used all these sites and never had a problem with bills or spam mail. i have never received a bill! so be carefree and "buy" a few mags today and learn some new decorating and organizing tips!

a few ways to stretch your dollars

someone once said a homemaker's job isn't to make money but rather to strtch the money her husband makes.
how exactly, ladies, do we do that? without depriving anyone of anything. plus throwing in a few treats now and then. ( we all need treats!)

some ways i have found that work for me
i have 7 children ( 6 with teeth). instead of buying each one a candy bar at 99 cents each i buy a package of 8 for 99 cents. if i buy 2 (or even 3!) they each get the same amount of candy but i save $3 or $4 !!

never buy soda when you are grabbing a pizza or burgers (with a coupon of course!) stop at walmart and buy their brand of soda in 2 liters for 67 cents each. you save a ton of money and it tastes good :)

if you are eating out AND buying each person a soda remember that many fast food places now have a happy hour where drinks are half price.

speaking of eating out, we find taco bell works well for us . we buy the meals rather than individual items and pass things around. if i buy the mexican pizza meal i eat the pizza and pass the tacos off to someone else. dh does the same. so do big brother and sister. then we feed everyone but only buy 4 meals for 8 people.

sign up for loyalty cards EVERYWHERE! they often send qs as a thank you and books a million gives out free coffee!

do surveys, freebies, enter contests, ( i have won 61 in 1 year so i know it works!) print qs- make your computer work for you! right now i am waiting to receive another round of goodies which include $40 cash plus a $10 gift card :) my thriftymama7 blog has sites listed plus i have survey sites listed in my right sidebar

target often puts it's $1 items down to a quarter so be on the look-out. i collect lotsa goodies from here and put them in a pretty bag for birthdays.

sign up for birthday clubs everywhere you can. free food is always nice!

try bundling your internet with your phone. when we did this it not only saved us money but they offered us a new computer for $10 a month for 2 years! and it works just fine!

watch tv on the web instead of buying cable or a new tv that fits the new deal they got going ( what a rip-off! just an excuse to have you pay more )

carry snacks with you when you travel (even to the mall) so you don't end up buying some junk food cuz everyone's hungry. i like to carry granola bars and rice cakes ( flavored of course ) for this. juice boxes in the car if it's a longer trip.

fill those 2 liter bottles and milk jugs with water and stick them in the freezer. it will work more efficiently being filled all the way and save on energy, costing you less.

both walmart and target have clearance endcaps. take your qs and see what you can find. i did this two days ago and came home with a box of bandaids and a box of cotton balls totally free.

bake all your own goodies.

use walmart bags instead of sandwich baggies.

you can easily make your own baby wipes, shampoo, detergent and other household cleaners. you save money and don't have all the chemicals!

work any deal you can find :) for example if test driving a new car will earn you a target gift card why not do it? if buying your groceries at a certain store will earn you points toward free gas then grab your coupons and go!

look for stores that double and triple your coupons. make sure you know all their rules first!

did you know that many video stores put out their previously viewed dvds for less then half the price of new ones. and some stores have a lifetime guarantee!

never buy microwaveable popcorn again! make your own, in the microwave, by using kernels and a paper bag. season to taste.

try using your coupons in the trial size area. this doesn't work for everything, because some mfrs put "no trial size allowed" but not all of them do.

sign up for reader panels at magazines. many times you will receive items to try and rate. from allure magazines i received a box containing a windbreaker and several makeup and skin care items. from elle magazine i recently received a tube of chanel mascara. from metro home magazine, i received a free sample of tide and a large laundry bag. just for adding my name to a list.

why buy cds when you can watch music videos on the web? youtube and cmt both have great selections.

i need to close now but i'll be back with more. do you have any to share?

what a surprise!

my anniversary is v-day also. however i didn't know it was gonna be my anniversary- MY WEDDING WAS A SURPRISE!
yep! that's right. i knew we were going to get married so we had bought a marriage license but i thought the wedding was going to take place in a few months, that we had not settled on a date yet but michael had!
he told me we were going out for a fancy dinner for v-day and told me to wear the dress i had planned for our wedding (it was just a lacy dress not a gown) because the restaurant was taking pictures of everyone who came that night. and he could not afford wedding photos so we would use this one!
he even hired a limo.
when we got to the restaurant (which was actually a historical site) he opened the door and there were my family and friends, wedding arch and flowers and him with a big grin! my mom had helped plan everything. so i got married on v-day! what a surprise!!

vaccinations are not proven safe

Gardasil Death & Brain Damage: A National Tragedy

by Barbara Loe Fisher

The tragic story of Gardasil vaccine is one that is playing out real time in the homes of trusting parents, who thought they were doing the right thing to try to make their daughters "one less," and in the 21st century cyberspace forum of public opinion as well as on television. On Feb. 6, CBS-TV Evening News released NVIC's new report on Gardasil vaccine risks. (watch VIDEO here)

Today, NVIC launched a petition and issued a national press release calling on President Barack Obama, his Administration and Congress to investigate the fast track licensure and universal use recommendation of Gardasil in 2006 and the dismissal of more than 10,000 reports of Gardasil-related reactions, injuries and deaths to the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) as a "coincidence" by federal health officials.

NVIC's latest Gardasil risk report comparing the number and severity of adverse events reported to the federal Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) through November 30, 2008, reveals that death and serious health problems such as stroke, blood clots, cardiac arrest, seizures, fainting, lupus and rechallenge cases are reported three to 30 times more frequently after Gardasil vaccination than after meningococcal (Menactra) vaccination. If the deaths and serious injuries being reported after Gardasil were only a "coincidence," there would be little or no difference between the frequency and severity of vaccine-related adverse events between two vaccines if the vaccines were equally reactive and the number of doses were roughly the same.

Gardasil and Menactra vaccines were licensed within a year of each other and recommended by the CDC for universal use in 11-12 year olds. Although Menactra is given to boys and girls and has already been mandated in many states for high school and college entry, Gardasil is only given to girls and is not yet mandated. Menatra is given as one-dose series and, by February 25, 2008, the CDC reported that about 15.5 million doses of Menactra had been distributed in the U.S. Gardasil is given in a three dose series and the CDC reported that, by July 2008, about 16 million doses had been distributed in the U.S.

This means that about 15 million doses of Menactra were given to about 15 million boys and/or girls and about 16 million doses of Gardasil - if every girl got three doses - were given to about five million girls. It is individuals - not doses of vaccine - who collapse, convulse, become paralyzed, have heart attacks, develop lupus and other chronic health problems after being vaccinated. The fact that death and serious health problems are reported 3 to 30 times more frequently after Gardasil than after Menactra is highly significant and it is irresponsible for federal health officials and Merck to blow it off as unimportant.

What is sad is that the average junior high or high school student could do this VAERS analysis and come to the same conclusion. It does not take an M.D., Ph.D. or math genius to figure it out. In the hours before the CBS News report was broadcast, the best answer that Merck could come up with to address the differences between adverse events associated with Gardasil and Menactra was this:

"It's important to remember that the proven benefit of GARDASIL is that it helps prevent cervical cancer caused by the two virus types responsible for most cases of cervical cancer. Nothing is more important to Merck than the safety of our products and we carefully monitor the safety of GARDASIL on a routine basis. Experts at the FDA and CDC also continue to review data and, as recently as four months ago, said "GARDASIL continues to be safe and effective, and its benefits continue to outweigh its risks." NVIC is not a medical organization and has a long history of raising concerns about vaccines that are in direct conflict with the opinion of leading medical experts. We encourage consumers to get reliable information about the safety of vaccines from www.cdc.gov."

No, it doesn't take a doctor, health official or "medical organization" to do the math. What it takes is caring about every life - whether that life represents a baby, toddler, child, teenager, young adult, adult or senior citizen - because every life is important and nobody deserves to be written off by a drug company or government agency as an expendable casualty of public health policy.

Gabrielle, the 15 year old gymnast, honor roll student and cheerleader from Wichita, Kansas, who talks about how her health has been destroyed by Gardasil vaccine in the CBS report and in the NVIC video press release, spends most of her time at home or at doctors' offices now. A few weeks ago, her school voted her Homecoming Princess. On Saturday, she tried to go to the Homecoming dance. As she was getting dressed, she collapsed with seizures and severe abdominal pain. The medication she has been taking to try to control the seizures she developed after Gardasil vaccination caused her to develop kidney stones. She was rushed to the emergency room and hospitalized.

In the past 27 years, the stories of death and brain damage that have been reported to the National Vaccine Information Center have never changed. Whether the vaccine victims are 15 months old or 15 years old, the stories are the same: a trusting parent took a bright, healthy child to a doctor for a routine vaccination and the child was never the same again.

Gardasil vaccine was inappropriately fast tracked and licensed by the FDA and recommended by the CDC with too little attention paid to the reports of brain and immune system dysfunction that developed after vaccination in pre-licensure clinical trials. That same cavalier attitude toward Gardasil-related deaths and serious health problems, which have been experienced by many girls and young women after licensure, is inexcusable.

Americans are losing trust in pharmaceutical companies making drugs and vaccines and in federal health agencies, whose responsibility is to ensure that drugs and vaccines licensed for public use are safe, effective and necessary. If those responsible for protecting our health are not going to step up to the plate and do their jobs, then it is up to the people to do it.

At www.NVIC.org you can sign the Investigate Gardasil Vaccine Risks Now! petition, read NVIC's new report on Gardasil risks, and check out our new website that makes it easier to navigate and find information to prevent vaccine injuries and deaths.

In 2009, I have a sense of déjà vu, as the story of Gardasil vaccine plays out real time. There are striking parallels between how those operating the mass vaccination system reacted in the 1980's to persistent reports that DPT vaccine was harming more children than originally assumed and the way they are reacting now to persistent reports that Gardasil is more reactive than it was originally assumed. Assumption of safety is no substitute for proof of safety. And turning away from human suffering in order to protect the status quo is not the way to run a government that needs the trust and support of the people.

In the 18th century, Queen Marie Antoinette looked down at a starving people pleading for bread to stay alive and said "Let them eat cake." It is time for everyone in government, industry and medicine to take a different approach to persistent reports of vaccine injuries and deaths or risk metaphorically suffering the same fate that ended the monarchy in France. In the 21st century, today's peasants don't have pitchforks - they have laptops, desktops, smartphones and the internet.

too scared to eat peanuts!

i know you all are aware that this has been going on but i think this article shows that we can't trust our food sources anymore! i feel trapped myself, livimng in a small town with no access to anyone but walmart and they get ALL their produce from mexic which uses pesticides banned even here in america!! it limits what we eat severely!

FBI enters Peanut Butter Investigation as US Schools May Have Received Tainted Peanut Products

"Beware of what you eat. You are on your own", Senator Tom Harkin announces to Americans in Senate Agriculture Hearing

U.S. Senators say public health officials failed the public. "To say that food safety in this country is a patchwork system is giving it too much credit. Food safety in America has too often become a hit-or-miss gamble, and that is truly frightening. When Americans can't count on the safety of basic items that go into our children?s lunch boxes, then we are in big trouble."

U.S. officials say peanut products possibly tainted with salmonella were sent to schools in three states as part of a free lunch program. The peanut butter and roasted peanuts were processed by the Peanut Corporation of America, which has been blamed for the recent salmonella outbreak.

Salmonella
Salmonella is a bacteria that can kill.

A salmonella outbreak in the United States caused by tainted peanut products has killed eight people and sickened at least 575 others.

Concern is growing. Tainted peanut products may have been sent to schools in three states, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said Friday.

Senator Tom Harkin, a Democrat, says Americans can no longer count on the safety of basic food items. "Peanut butter that we put in our kids sandwiches that they take to school" he said. "If that's not safe then we have to ask, what is?"

At a Senate hearing on Thursday, lawmakers said the recent outbreak shows that America's food safety regulations need to be tightened.

"All this happened because of failure," Senator Amy Klobuchar said. "The failure of our government to prevent unsafe food from entering the food chain."

The first salmonella case was reported in September, federal officials say. In early January, officials identified peanut products from a plant in Georgia as the source. The plant belongs to the Peanut Corporation of America.

Crackers prepared using peanut butter as one of its ingredients
Crackers prepared using peanut butter as one of its ingredients
More than 1,300 foods that had ingredients from the Georgia plant have been recalled and the factory has been shut down.

US food safety officials say crucial information had not been shared by both state officials and company executives.

Gabrielle Meunier told senators her seven-year-old son became sick in December from peanut butter crackers.

She says federal agencies must use technology to communicate food safety information to the public when it becomes available. "Those involved with outbreak response should never underestimate how much the victims crave information," she said. "I was kept in the dark for way too long throughout this process."

Federal officials launched a criminal investigation into the company after learning it shipped products that originally tested positive for salmonella but then retested them, getting negative results. The company has denied wrongdoing.

Senator Patrick Leahy says fines are not punishment enough. "I'd like to see some people go to jail!"

Caroline Smith DeWaal directs the non-profit Center for Science in the Public Interest. She urged congress to improve food safety regulations. She says the outbreak could continue because peanut butter has a long shelf-life. "This could go on for a long time," she said. "Unless we can really actively get these products off the retail shelves but also out of people's homes."

The company's products will be barred from federal contracts for a year.

CPSC Spells Out Enforcement Policy For New Lead Limits In Children’s Products Effective February 10

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Starting on February 10, 2009, consumer products intended for children 12 and under cannot have more than 600 parts per million of lead in any accessible part. This new safety requirement is a key component of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) aimed at further reducing children’s exposure to lead.

In an effort to provide clear and reasonable guidance to those impacted by this important law, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is announcing its enforcement policy on the lead limits established by the CPSIA.

Manufacturers, importers, distributors, and retailers should also be aware that CPSC will:

* Not impose penalties against anyone for making, importing, distributing, or selling

o a children’s product to the extent that it is made of certain natural materials, such as wood, cotton, wool, or certain metals and alloys which the Commission has recognized rarely, if ever, contain lead;
o an ordinary children’s book printed after 1985
; or
o dyed or undyed textiles (not including leather, vinyl or PVC) and non-metallic thread and trim used in children’s apparel and other fabric products, such as baby blankets.

(The Commission generally will not prosecute someone for making, selling or distributing items in these categories even if it turns out that such an item actually contains more than 600 ppm lead.)

Sellers will not be immune from prosecution if CPSC’s Office of Compliance finds that someone had actual knowledge that one of these children’s products contained more than 600 ppm lead or continued to make, import, distribute or sell such a product after being put on notice. Agency staff will seek recalls of violative children’s products or other corrective actions, where appropriate.
* Issue an interim final rule effective February 10, 2009, which establishes alternative lead limits for certain electronic devices, in order to prevent unnecessary removal of certain children’s products from store shelves.

* Accept a manufacturer’s determination that a lead-containing part on their product is inaccessible to a child and not subject to the new lead limits, if it is consistent with the Commission’s proposed guidance or is based on a reasonable reading of the inaccessibility requirement. Paint and other coatings or electroplating are not considered barriers that make a component inaccessible.

This enforcement policy will remain in effect until superseded by action of the Commission.

CPSC still expects companies to meet their reporting obligation under federal law and immediately tell the Commission if they learn of a children’s product that exceeds the new lead limits starting on February 10, 2009. Companies also should know that the CPSIA generally prohibits the export for sale of children’s products that exceed the new lead limits.

As announced on January 30, 2009, the Commission approved a one year stay of enforcement for certain testing and certification requirements for manufacturers and importers. Significant to makers of children’s products, the ‘stay’ provides limited relief from the testing and certification for total lead content limits, phthalates limits for certain products and mandatory toy standards. Manufacturers and importers – large and small – of children’s products will not need to test or certify to these new requirements, but will still need to meet the lead and phthalates limits, mandatory toy standards and other requirements. Certification based on testing by an accredited laboratory is still required for painted children’s products and soon will be required for children’s metal jewelry, as well as certain other products for non-lead issues.

at the well monday

i have joined the at the well discussions

“But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience; the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things— that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed. Titus 2: 1-5

When you read the Scripture found in Titus 2: 2-5, how do you see this playing out in your own life?
i see my true Godgiven place. not as the world sees it but as God sees it and intends for it to be. i see that i am being called to be the titus 2 woman for myself since i have none in my life. what kind of example am i setting must be my constant question.

What are your areas of strength? Of weakness?
my areas of strength- my mouth! i like to talk. my memory! i remember just about everything i read so scripture recall comes fairly easily to me. my teaching gift. i have been told many times that i have a gift for picking apart a scripture and showing what it means , in a way that makes it easy to grasp.

weakness- mmm too many to list. i can be loud. i can anger easliy. are these traits of a titus 2 woman? not in my book! so i must always be working on these. notice in the description of a titus 2 woman that she is never listed as perfect!

If you could set some sort of goal in relation to this Scripture, what would it be? to make my weaknesses fade into the background. i wouldn't want them to disappear tho because i would stop leaning on Christ.

monday, another monday
